DESCRIPTION:Hawai’i’s Exceptional Tree initiative became law in May 1975 and is designed to identify\, recognize\, and protect Hawai’i’s most iconic trees.\nPlease join The City & County of Honolulu Mayor’s Arborist Advisory Committee for a celebration of this monumental milestone. Free admission will be provided to Foster Botanical Garden. Free parking is available on site. \n9:00 AM- 10:00 AM Arrival and Welcome\n10:00 AM-10:30 AM Exceptional Tree Program Presentation \n10:30 AM-11:30 AM Exceptional Tree Tour\n11 :30 AM -12:00 PM Exceptional Tree Nomination Workshop\nWhile reservations are not necessary\, to reserve a spot on the 10:30 a.m. tours email HBG@honolulu.gov to ensure availability as the tours are capacity constrained.
