Learn & Grow – collect seeds from native plants, germinate seeds, assist in weeding

In cooperation with TFHF’s heat island investigator partners, a special morning at UH’s Urban Garden Center is planned to learn and grow skills while meeting like-minded individuals and organizations. 

• Where:  Directions can be found here: https://cms.ctahr.hawaii.edu/ougc/Directions. 
• Bring: protection from the sun (ex: long sleeve, hat, and sunscreen), water and snacks for yourself, covered shoes, and gloves. Additional water and snacks will be provided.

Since the garden is closed to the public on Saturdays, Tina Lau, UGC’s Jr Extension Agent, will be at the gate at 8:30 am.  If you come later, the gate will be false locked (unlocked but closed) so that the public will not come in. Liability waivers are required.
