Tulips the Name Bringing Shades my Game.
An excellent shade tree for small spaces, the tulipwood tree thrives in full sun or partial shade. My tiny yet mighty size makes me a valuable addition from a design standpoint, but my evergreen foliage, spring blooms and beautiful fruit make me a very good landscape specimen. Not to brag but my high-quality lumber is fine grained and dark in color, perfect for furniture making. My family and I are of 26 other trees that scientists are studying for our naturally occurring and beneficial chemical property – saponin.
FUN FACT! Health-promoting components, saponins, affect the immune system in ways that help to protect the human body against cancers, and also lower cholesterol levels.
