Forest Bathing Walk – sign up (below) required
October 25 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Take a mindful stroll through the campus’ natural spaces and experience Shinrinyoku — the Japanese practice of “forest bathing.” Led by Dr. Miku Lenentine (ANFT Certified Guide) and Mahi La Pierre, Park Interpretive Center Coordinator at Diamond Head State Monument, educator, and artisan, this guided experience invites you to slow down, reconnect with nature, and celebrate the Year of Our Community Forests. Ground yourself in ʻāina, uplift Native Hawaiian values, and restore balance and well-being.
Sign up here. Space is limited, so register today!
These events celebrate the Year of Our Community Forests and are funded in part by a grant from the Kaulunani Urban and Community Forestry Program of the DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife.
