People call me showy but they’re just jealous.
Hi, my names the White Tecoma tree and if you haven’t already guessed I am from the Caribbean, native to Hispaniola. Because of my smaller size I’m a puuuurfect choice for confined space. Making me ideal for the hustle and bustle of the urban setting. I’m totally recognizable by my leaves which are much lighter on the underside, contrasting with my dark green top. Other people *cough cough* botanists cough* say my flowers are fewer and less colorful (light pink fading to white) in comparison to my other commonly grown Tabebuia family. And yet, they still describe my flowers as showy because lets face it I’M GORGEOUS DARLING.
