50th Anniversary Celebration of O’ahu’s Exceptional Tree Program

Hawai’i’s Exceptional Tree initiative became law in May 1975 and is designed to identify, recognize, and protect Hawai’i’s most iconic trees.
Please join The City & County of Honolulu Mayor’s Arborist Advisory Committee for a celebration of this monumental milestone. Free admission will be provided to Foster Botanical Garden. Free parking is available on site.

10:00 AM-10:30 AM Exceptional Tree Program Presentation
10:30 AM-11:30 AM Exceptional Tree Tour
11 :30 AM -12:00 PM Exceptional Tree Nomination Workshop
While reservations are not necessary, to reserve a spot on the 10:30 a.m. tours email HBG@honolulu.gov to ensure availability as the tours are capacity constrained.
